One hour at the barn not enough for your rider? Then our Horsemanship program is what you are looking for! This is a unique program that offers equine knowledge in addition to mounted lessons. This program is ideal for students with an eagerness to learn beyond the saddle.
What’s Included
The Horsemanship Program will run Sept. 5th 2011 – June 15th, 2012. Horsemanship classes meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays: 2:00- 4:00; 3:00- 5:00 & 4:00- 6:00. This two-hour program includes a riding lesson and an unmounted clinic each week. Unmounted topics are tailored to appropriate class skill level. This program is run similar to our Pony Club program and prepares your child to participate in the knowledge and riding standards of the National Pony Club organization.
The Cost:
The 2011-2012 Horsemanship Program costs a total of $2,000 for approx. 39 weeks of riding and unmounted instruction. We ask for a deposit of $1000 for the last 5 months (Feb, March, April, May and June). And payments of $200/mo for Sept., Oct., Nov., Dec and Jan. by the 1st of each of these month. (Your last payment will be $200 on Jan 1st. After that the $1000 deposit pays for Feb, March, April and May)
We offer a 10% discount if the program is paid in full with your registration. Cost with discout: $1,800.00. There is no refund should your child drop out except for medical emergencies.
Who Can Sign Up:
This program is open to all students of all ages and skill level.
What’s Required:
We do ask if you choose this program to commit to the entire year as this program progresses through the year. The student will need a riding helmet, a boot with a 1/2 –inch heel and long pants.
Policies:
If for any reason you can not make your lesson, please let us know either by calling the barn: 978-263-0063 or email rita@hybidfarm.com. When you register your child for lessons, we reserve your pony, ring and instructor for your lesson time. We never cancel lessons and there are no refunds or make ups for missed classes, so please choose your lesson day and time carefully. Thanks for your understanding!
