Hybid Farm was established in 1980. It is named Hybid because the McConnons were the “highest bidders” when the property was sold “as is” at an auction. This has been a dream come true for Rita who always dreamed of owning her own horse.
Through the years Hybid has become a second home to their students and a safe haven for rescued horses. It is designed to be a family barn with a friendly atmosphere for both horses and people. For years now, children and adults have learned not only how to ride, but also how to care for the great horses at Hybid Farm. Many friendships that have started at the barn have lasted for years and years. Come see why Hybid Farm brings so much joy to all those who make it their “barn away from home”.
