For thirty years, the staff of Hybid Farm has been working to provide a fun and safe environment to learn about and enjoy working with horses. Hybid Farm is a family owned and family run old-fashioned New England horse farm.
One of our primary goals is to make every child feel lovable and capable and have every child feel good about what they can do. At Hybid, we believe that every moment is a teaching moment. Children can learn so much more than just riding from their experiences in the horse world. They learn about responsibility, preparation, disappointment and hard work. They learn that they can’t always come first, particularly when there is another living creature depending on them. They learn that a horse is not a disposable commodity but is a partner to be cared for and cherished. They learn that their moods affect everyone around them including their horse. They learn that pitching in to help someone is a reward in and of itself. They learn the need for hard work and attention to detail. They learn to trust and believe in themselves and to make good decisions.
We pride ourselves in the family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere that makes Hybid Farm so unique!
